This one hour class will show your child how to create a work of art using the basic shapes as building blocks. Basic drawing is an introductory drawing class that will allow your child’s imagination to soar. Each class will be given a theme to work with. Students are encouraged to experiment with different techniques and will receive one-on-one guidance as needed. By the end of the class, your child will be able to share a remarkable piece of art with you. Ages 5-7. Currently registering for the following:

Youth Art
Older students, ages 7-13, will enjoy theme based classes. Every week students will learn a variety of different drawing concepts including shading, proportions and more. Our next session will be: Scheduled at a later date. Under the Sea Life Under the Sea! Students will learn to draw sea turtles, tropical fish and a friendly octopus with beautiful colors and plenty of details. We will build these creatures while learning to use the basic building blocks of drawing in the process. ScienceEach week students will explore a new area of science. Be ready to use your thinking caps to answer some mind boggling questions. We will introduce our students to different theories and have them perform a hypothesis on what they think the out come of each experiment might be. Every class we will introduce a new topic so that there is never a boring moment. This class is ideal for kids grades K-5. Currently registering for the following:

Pt.1 Chemical Reaction, Pt. 2 Sodium Polyacrylate What causes a chemical reaction? Students will experiment with foam causing an exothermic reaction. we will discuss what exothermic is and how it was created in this experiment. Next we will explore sodium polyacrylate. Activities will amaze students of all ages and keep them asking for more. Science - April 2Code: SC0402 Fingerprint Identification Students will learn about the different types of fingerprint patterns, as well as the different ridge patterns that help differentiate each print. Everyone will make a 10-print sample showing two types of impressions and will be able to identify key elements in their own print. Science - April 16Code: SC0416
